Regis Aruba Murder-Suicide – Deaths: Unknown Couple Found Dead at St. Regis Aruba Hotel in Noord, Aruba
Multiple law enforcement agencies are currently responding to a serious incident reported on Sunday at a luxurious five-star hotel in Aruba, where a married couple was discovered lifeless in what authorities are treating as a possible murder-suicide.
Early reports suggest that police along with several emergency medical teams were dispatched to The St. Regis Aruba Resort, located at J.E. Irausquin Blvd. 75 E, after receiving a notification regarding an individual who had jumped from an elevated floor of the hotel. When they arrived, officers found an adult male who had succumbed to his injuries after falling from the 12th floor. Authorities confirmed that the man was pronounced dead following the fall.
Subsequently, investigators examined the couple’s hotel room, where they located the body of an adult female. The police reported that she had sustained visible gunshot injuries. No additional injuries have been reported, and there are currently no signs indicating the involvement of any other suspects.
Officials indicated that the couple had arrived at the resort for their honeymoon after tying the knot earlier that weekend. Their identities have not been released, as authorities are awaiting to inform their next of kin.
As a precaution, the investigating officers have closed off the swimming pool area of the resort and restricted access to parts of the property associated with the incident. Guests have been asked to avoid the affected areas while the investigation continues.
Law enforcement agents remain at the scene and have stated that the case is still under active scrutiny. Additional details are expected to be shared as the investigation advances.
