 The city of Evansville is heartbroken and grieving following the sudden passing of Drew Allen Brinker, who was 32 years old and dearly loved as a husband, son, brother, friend, and vital member of the community. His death on November 28, 2025, has created a profound void that is difficult to convey. Drew represented much more than just diverse roles;

he was a source of joy, enthusiasm, unwavering support, and loyalty. Those who knew him remember his charismatic presence, a comforting light that drew others in and made them feel valued. His departure has plunged family and friends into deep sadness, as they search for comfort in the stillness that follows.

A Man of Purpose, Passion, and Boundless Heart

Drew lived life with passion, whether he was immersed in work, spending time with family, or enjoying a day outdoors. In his profession, he found fulfillment and pride within the construction and safety fields, particularly during his three-year tenure at Baker Construction. His commitment to safeguarding others truly reflected his character: dependable, hardworking, and deeply compassionate. His position with the Fire Department highlighted his dedication to service, which he executed with honor and dignity.

Outside of work, Drew relished every moment with joy. He loved golfing, fishing, dancing, and singing out of tune to any song that played, especially while grilling for family and friends. An avid supporter of LSU, he spiritedly participated in game days, tailgating, and crawfish boils. Traveling brought him great happiness, with Miramar Beach being his preferred getaway—the ideal spot for unwinding, recharging, and enjoying life.

Nevertheless, his personal relationships were what truly illustrated his character. Drew shared an extraordinary love for his wife, Mallory, whom he adored. He cherished his dogs, Opie and Sis, who accompanied him everywhere. He was a friend to all, a brother who infused family gatherings with friendliness, and a man whose lively spirit filled spaces with joy. His adventurous spirit, generous heart, and genuine kindness left a significant mark.

Holding Tight to Memories, Honoring a Legacy That Lives On

Drew is survived by a grieving family: his loving wife Mallory; his mother Timberly; his father Darren; his brothers Trey and Eric; his grandparents; and a large extended network of uncles, cousins, and in-laws who held him dear. He has now been reunited with his grandparents, Nana Carolyn, Pa Paw Gary, and Pa Paw Roland, who passed away before him.

In response to this tragedy, Drew's family has asked that friends and loved ones commemorate his memory not with flowers, but by participating in an activity he loved: playing a round of golf. This serves as a gentle reminder that even during times of grief, happiness can be found in celebrating a life well-lived.
