The Stratford community is in mourning. This incident occurred on Nichols Avenue at around 3:35 a.m., and the 18-year-old who had a bright future full of goals, dreams, and hope for a bright future died as a result.

Ryan was one of five teenagers, ages sixteen to twenty-four, from Stratford and the surrounding community of Bridgeport, who were in the car, according to police. First responders called the scene "heart-wrenching" after the automobile reportedly lost control and crashed into a tree in the early morning hours. One passenger is still in serious condition, and three others have minor injuries. Unfortunately, Ryan was pronounced dead at the scene despite attempts to rescue him.

Investigators are looking at a number of possible causes, including speed, driver mistake, mechanical problems, and road conditions, in an effort to better comprehend the circumstances that led to the collision. The wreckage strewn all over the road is a terrifying reminder of how quickly things can change. To provide solace to the bereaved families, investigators devoted hours to gathering evidence and assembling the chronology of events.

The Stratford community is experiencing emotional turmoil as a result of Ryan's passing, especially at Bunnell High School, where he recently celebrated graduating with his classmates. After the tragedy, the football squad at Bunnell High School posted a moving tribute, praising Ryan as a "positive and dedicated" member of the Bulldog family. They remembered him as a player who exemplified the school's values of perseverance and solidarity by displaying effort on the field and in his personal life. The speech emphasized how much he had grown as a young man during his time in high school, becoming a leader and an inspiration.

She said, "Our thoughts and prayers are with Ryan's family, friends, and the whole Bunnell High School community."
