 Born on April 24, 2005, Lucas Edward Fryc, 20, of Bordentown, New Jersey, died suddenly, leaving his friends, family, and community in mourning.

Lucas excelled as a student and an athlete at Bordentown Regional High School, where he graduated with pride in the Class of 2023. Lucas, a four-year varsity soccer player, was recognized for his athleticism, sportsmanship, and leadership on and off the field. He was selected to the BCSL First Team All-Patriot League twice. He demonstrated his artistic abilities as a clarinetist in the school band in addition to his athletic achievements, juggling academics, athletics, and music with poise and commitment.


Lucas was well-known for his vivacious nature, generosity, and capacity to make people happy. He loved working as a team, whether it was with friends or on the soccer field, and he admired hard effort, dedication, and devotion. He was a cherished son, brother, and friend because of his sense of humor and laid-back demeanor.

Beyond his accomplishments, Lucas led a purposeful and inquisitive life that motivated everyone around him to put in their best effort and seize every chance. The Bordentown neighborhood, where he was a well-known and beloved figure, is deeply saddened by his demise.


The memories of Fryc's humor, tenacity, and giving nature are being clung to by his family and loved ones. The innumerable people that Lucas impacted throughout his brief but significant 20 years will continue to carry on his legacy.
